Catalina Scientific provides imaging systems using high-resolution, cooled and uncooled CCD and CMOS cameras for applications in microscopy, biology, astronomy, machine vision and high-speed photography. Apogee Instruments

Apogee has been manufacturing cooled, cost-effective CCD cameras since the mid 1990's. Their current models of Alta cameras have either a 100 BASE-T or USB 2.0 interface. Apogee cameras are used extensively for microscopy, astronomy, and spectroscopy applications.

Dalsa Corporation

Catalina Scientific began representing Silicon Mountain Design (SMD) in 1995 and has continued selling their line of high-speed, high-resolution, uncooled CCD cameras since Dalsa Corporation acquired SMD in 1999. Dalsa, a world leader in imaging technology, has expanded the original SMD line of cameras to include CMOS as well as CCD detectors that can provide up to 150 frames per second at 1K x 1K resolution to over to 7000 frames per second with a sub-array readout. Dalsa line-scan and time delay and integration (TDI) cameras are used extensively for many machine vision and other applications. We represent Dalsa in Arizona and New Mexico.

Salvador Imaging

Salvador Imaging's custom products range from a 28 megapixel camera that acquires a few frames/second to a 512x512 camera that can acquire over 1 million frames/second. Their standard cameras include 1K x 1K at 30fps, 2K x 2K at 7.5fps, 3K x 2K at 1 fps, 4K x 2K at 24fps, 2896 x 2896 at 60fps, 4K x 4K at 8fps, and 4K x 4K at 30fps. All of Salvador's cameras are cooled and offer 12 or 14-bit dynamic range. Salvador Imaging excels at supplying custom cameras for demanding applications.
